Shipping & delivery

Sellers on Mela Marketplace deliver across Ethiopia. This page explains delivery times, fees and tracking.

Delivery times Most orders are delivered within 3 working days in Addis Ababa; other cities can take longer. Each product page shows when the seller dispatches it, and items from different sellers ship as separate orders.

Delivery fees The delivery fee is calculated at checkout before you pay. Orders of ETB 5,000 or more from one seller qualify for free delivery; otherwise the standard fee is ETB 250 per seller order unless the checkout shows otherwise.

Tracking You can follow every order in your Buyer Center, from confirmation to packing, shipping and delivery. We send updates by email, SMS or Telegram according to your settings.

Receiving your order Check the items when they arrive. Give the delivery code shown on your order to the courier only once you have the items. If you paid a deposit, the balance is due when you confirm delivery; with cash on delivery you pay the courier.
